We visited the Zoo while at the beach and had a great time. The first thing the kids did was feed the goats. Can I tell you how much that skeeves me? Can you say Infectious Diseases? Thankfully we made it through that unscathed and enjoyed the rest of the visit. We got to see the Lion come out and even hear it ROAR! Emma and Ryan posed with Em's favorite animal, the Pamingos. What's a Pamingo, you ask? You know, the pink things that stand on one leg and are abundant in Florida. Some of you educated folk might know them as Flamingos. I was loving the giraffes (a personal fav) while Emma was sad to miss the Zebras who were being housed in a far off field while their home was being worked on... by men in bright orange shirts being watched by armed guards. Yep, we missed out on the Zebras but we got to see the inmates!
